Only .docx, the format Word has used since 2007. Open an older .doc file in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and choose Save As .docx, then convert it here.
Not yet. The PDF uses a Latin font, so it covers English and Western European languages including accented letters. Characters outside that range are replaced, and the tool warns you if any were.
Use Letter (8.5 x 11 in) in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America, and A4 almost everywhere else. If the document will be printed, match the paper in your printer.
