Frequently Asked Questions

How do I listen to a PDF?

Drop your PDF above and press Play. The text is read aloud sentence by sentence while the current sentence is highlighted. Change the voice or speed at any time, or click any sentence to jump to it.

Can I turn a PDF into an audiobook?

Yes. Open a book or long document and use it like an audiobook player: pick a natural-sounding voice, set the speed between 0.75x and 2x, and jump to any page. The reading position is kept while you pause.

Can I download the audio as an MP3?

Not yet. The voices come from your device and browsers do not allow recording them directly, so the PDF is read aloud live in the page. Keep the tab open while you listen.

Which voices are available?

The voices installed on your device. Chrome and Edge include high-quality online voices, and Safari on Mac and iPhone offers Siri-quality voices. More voices can be added in your operating system speech settings.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Only PDFs with real text can be read aloud. Scanned pages are images and need OCR first.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Text is extracted in your browser and read by your device voices, so the document never leaves your device.
