Every Instagram account tracked on TinyKit, ranked three ways: who has the most followers right now, who has gained the most since we started watching them, and who has lost the most. Follower counts come from each account's public profile and are snapshotted once a day, so the ranking is never more than a day old.

How this leaderboard is built
Searched, not curated
Every account here was looked up by a visitor. There is no editorial list and no minimum follower count — search an account once and it is ranked from then on.
One snapshot a day
The first look-up of an account each UTC day pulls fresh public numbers and saves a snapshot. Every later view that day is served from our database, so the ranking is stable within a day.
Change since day one
Gainers and losers compare the current count with the earliest snapshot we hold, and each row shows how many days that spans, so you can judge the pace as well as the total.
Reading the numbers
A high follower count and fast growth are different things. The most-followed tab is dominated by accounts that took years to build, and at that size a good week barely registers as a percentage. The gainers tab is where newer accounts show up: a few hundred thousand new followers is invisible on a 600-million-follower profile but is a step change for a profile in the low millions.
Losses are usually less dramatic than they look. Instagram periodically removes spam and inactive accounts, which shows up as a single sharp drop across many profiles at once rather than as an audience walking away. Open any account to see its follower-growth chart — a one-day cliff and a steady slide are easy to tell apart there, and the daily, 7-day and 30-day changes are listed alongside it.
Leaderboard FAQ
How do accounts get onto this leaderboard?
By being searched. The leaderboard is built from every account people have looked up on Insta Tracker — search a username once and it is tracked and ranked from then on. Nothing is curated by hand, so the list reflects what visitors are actually watching.
How often does the ranking change?
Each tracked account is snapshotted once per UTC day, so ranks can move once a day. Accounts that a signed-in user refreshes manually can update sooner.
What window do the gainers and losers cover?
The change shown is the difference between an account’s current follower count and the very first snapshot we hold for it, and each row says how many days that covers. An account tracked for six months therefore has more room to move than one added yesterday — read the day count alongside the number.
Why is an account I searched missing from the list?
The most-followed tab is capped at 100 accounts, so smaller accounts drop off the bottom. The gainers and losers tabs only include accounts whose follower count has actually moved, which needs at least two snapshots — so a brand-new account appears there a day after you first track it.
Are these numbers official Instagram figures?
They are the public follower, following, and post counts shown on each profile, read at snapshot time. Instagram rounds some figures in places and counts fluctuate as spam accounts are removed, so treat the totals as accurate to the day rather than to the minute.
